Please could you email me any of these you would like to share and I will upload them to the Gants Hill Partnership website. This will help us to build a shared resource which can be used for planning by network schools.
Generating children’s questions for enquiry
Please email me if you would like a copy of Esme’s powerpoint (which won’t seem to upload to this site). The other resources from Esme’s session are below.

Linking real scientists to enquiry in the classroom

Evaluating the impact of the project
You have all achieved a huge amount in developing scientific enquiry in your schools over the last two years and we discussed the importance of capturing that impact through a final evaluation (both for yourself and for the school).
There are many different types of evidence that you could use to demonstrate that impact, which we recorded together (see the photo below).
Since the next meeting is the final one for the year, it would be great to celebrate that impact. Please could you therefore email me before the next meeting:
- a summary of the impact on your school in whatever format suits you (you can use our list of evidence sources for ideas; and
- your updated Enthuse pupil data spreadsheet. (If you need me to, I can email you the one you sent at the beginning of the year.)
Leadership of network
Please let me know if you would be interested in jointly leading the network next year. A couple of you have already expressed a potential interest and I can arrange to discuss the role with you further if that would be helpful. As well as being a great professional development opportunity, it’s also a very rewarding and enjoyable thing to do (at least that’s what I’ve found!).
Date/venue of next meeting
We have agreed a changed date for the final network meeting of the year. It will be on Monday, 19th June, at Eastbury Primary School from 1.30pm-4.30pm.
Enthuse Partnership Celebration Day
There are still places available for this event on 27th June – please let me know if you are interested.
Best wishes,
Joe
