School to School Support
Gearies Primary school is a National Teaching School. It is the lead school for its associated Teaching Alliance, the Gants Hill Partnership. This is a network of schools from across North East London, working in partnership with a range of professional partners to raise standards of teaching and learning, and narrow the gap in attainment for focus groups of children.
Together, we provide a range of support for other schools. One available option is for schools to request a bespoke partnership project. This may involve working in collaboration with another school on an agreed focus. This may be to:
- research alternatives for managing a curriculum change
- develop an aspect of best practice
- create new learning
- negotiate professional development
We like to work in partnership with other schools, and research alternative ways of solving problems, using as much knowledge and expertise as possible from the host school. We are able to access support from a range of accredited professionals, including Head Teachers, NLEs, Specialist Leaders of Education, consultants, network leaders and researchers. Their fields of expertise cover a wide range of subjects: including Reading, Mathematics, Science, Early years and Leadership.
Any school interested in working this way should contact Bob Drew (Head Teacher and National Leader of Education) on firstname.lastname@example.org
